Marine Cleaning & Repair
What You Can Do
Boat covers, cushions, curtains and upholstery must be cleaned regularly because sun and sand, wind and water can do all kinds of damage. First, gently clean your boat canvas with a mild, non-detergent, soapy solution. Lightly scrub with a soft-bristle brush and then rinse thoroughly with clear water. Never use a brush of any kind on vinyl windows. Allow your canvas to air-dry in a well-ventilated area and never fold or store your canvas when it's wet. For the cleaning products we recommend and sell, see below.
Professional Services We Offer:
Professional Cleaning, Repair and Recovery
Every two to three years, professional cleaning is highly recommended to extend the life and lovely look of your vessel. We can clean your canvas at our facility or onsite at your location. We will clean gently but thoroughly to remove deep-down dirt, mold and mildew.
We will treat stains; repair grommets and fasteners; lubricate and replace zippers; repair, reinforce or seal tears and seams, reapply water repellant, replace roll glass windows, install grommets and snaps and repair upholstery. If fabric is too worn or damaged, or frames bent and broken, we will recommend recovery or replacement and provide cost estimates.
